Healthy freshwater ecosystems are the lifeblood of our communities and are vital to the quality of life for birds and people. Audubon Minnesota works to protect and restore our state’s critical wetlands, river systems, and floodplain forests.
Data gathered over the last 25 years shows increased flooding and loss of floodplain forests that serve as important bird habitat and protection for local communities.
