Restore our Gulf!

This week the RESTORE Act made important progress in the US Senate. Thanks to all who have called and written -- both Minnesota Senators voted to include this important act in a pending Transportation bill.

The RESTORE Act has several more legislative hurdles to clear, before it becomes law. The bipartisan, overwhelming vote in favor of dedicating BP's oil spill fine to Gulf restoration increases the odds that this will occur.

Thank you to all of you who called Senator Klobuchar and Senator Franken. It made a big difference. Next time you get the chance, please thank them for their support for restoring the gulf!
